A 19th century porcelain plaque moulded in low relief with a mythological scene depicting the Massacre of the Niobids, after a model by Antonio Selvi (1679-1753) in turn from the composition by Guglielmo della Porta (active 1534-1572). Produced in the Doccia factory near Florence, founded by the Marchese Carlo Ginori in 1735, it is inscribed G180/ oe. Mounted in a fine ebony guilloché frame.
