Marcolini period Meissen elongated tureen and shallow three lobed tray in cream pressed porcelain. Both with rusticated handles. The body of the tureen is crenellated  and supported on a base of knarled twigs. Finely modelled spays of roses, dahlias, daises and carnations decorate the lid with a single piped handle, the tray is edged with delicate flowers. Two underglaze blue crossed swords and asterisk marks to tureen base and tray. Minor losses and metal repairs to one handle.
