A hand-blown rising square vase manufactured by one of the premiere 19th century French glass houses, Legras & Cie (1864-1914). The design in hand-enameled decoration, shows a fully blossomed and budding iris, captured in subtle shades of yellow and mauve with lavish gilt outlining set on a 'Chipped Ice' ground; it has a crimped top with gilt saw-tooth decoration. Monte Joye mark in gilt to base.
