Hand painted blue and white jar from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Globular form with contiguous band contianing four petal flowers and stylised foliage, the shoulder with overlapping lotus petals. Probably from the Vietnamese kilns of the Red River Delta found in the Hoi-An shipwreck. Unmarked.
